Went there today. Wasn't that impressed. I'm not a native of Spanish Fork so I don't have any nostalgia for Glade's like others seem to have. I went with the double meat, double cheese. It was only mediocre. The buns are very small and the patties are fairly small as well. They load it with dressing, which isn't a bad thing, but I just wasn't feeling it. The burger was juicy, but everything else just wasn't spectacular. I got a small order of fries to go with it. The crinkle fries were pretty good, though very salty. Again, I wasn't a huge fan of the famous white sauce. Didn't taste much different from plain old mayonnaise--if your expecting a fry sauce type taste, this is not it. I didn't get ice cream, so I'll have to withhold judgment on that front. I did get a small lemonade which actually tasted very poorly. Not sure what was going on there. Overall, not that impressed. Perhaps this is more of a local thing than anything else. It's like the place you always went to growing up and so you have a hard time seeing what it really is.

Fries and special sauce were great after a long day of work! Love it and will definitely head back.

The quality over the last few years has gotten to the point where it's just not worth going to anymore. There are a few better restaurants in the city that have what you are looking for.

Glades will always hold a special place in my heart because it was my first job. Their food is the best that Sysco delivers, so if the quality has gone down blame Sysco. The 50 year old grill imparts the special flavor. Onion rings from scratch. Best penny candy selection in a 20 mile radius. Janet is da bomb! Girl can run a kitchen like no other.

My parents and grandparents frequented the joint and I try to go whenever I'm in town. The burgers are perfectly greasy and the white sauce makes you look t mayo in a new light. Quick enough and doesn't cost more than I'm willing to fork over for memories and delicious food.

Maybe I went on a bad day but the last time I went to Glade's the milk shake I got wasn't anything "out of the ordinary". I think the problem was that I'd heard so many great things about this Spanish Fork joint that I had high expectations. If I were to pick a place to get a milk share or burger, Glades wouldn't probably be at the top of my list. Not a bad place but 2.5 stars best case.

It's a great old style drive in diner. They have a little of everything.

This place is a staple in any diet. Give me a Double Meat, Double Cheese, Small Fry w/ White Sauce and a Cherry Fresh Lime any meal, any day. Not to mention the best customer service offered by Sher. She's the best!

Glade's doesn't look like much, in fact it looks old and dumpy, but it has a friendly staff and really good shakes! I've also had their onion rings which were great, and their tacos, while extremely greasy, are perfect if you're craving something that is pure comfort food and not healthy at all. In fact, anything off the grill will probably have that nice layer of delicious drive in grease, packed full of flavor. If i were rating food quality, 2 stars. But I'm giving 3 stars based on the great shakes and not so bad food if you're in the mood for something warm and comforting.

I'll be up-front and say that all I've ever had there is the shakes. I should probably get around to trying their burgers, but the main reason I go there is their shakes. On a typical night their shakes are nice and thick with the option to mix and match as many flavors as you want. Even though they're a little pricey for the size, they're definitely worth it. I typically go with hot fudge, Oreo, caramel.

Glades is an oldie-but-goodie in Spanish Fork. Their fries are yummy, especially with their signature white sauce! The burgers have gone downhill as of late, but the fries are worth stopping by!

If you love grease or you're desperate for soft serve then Glades is worth a stop but otherwise, I'd give it a pass. Locals, LOVE this place for some reason but the food is basically unremarkable, I liked the chicken fingers but wouldn't be able to eat a whole order of them because they're so greasy, the fries are decent but not great, and the rest of the food tastes like deep fried grease or mayonnaise.

My boyfriend told me this place has been around forever and had great burgers! I was excited to try it and then I was super disappointed. The bun was stale, the party was thinner than a cheap McDonald cheese burger, so therefore the meat had zero flavor cause it was 1/4" thick or less. The fries are crinkle cut and frozen most likely with zero flavor as well. A waste of money and time

I grew up on Glades and although the food is good, it's very small burger at very big prices. The food is good, but the burgers are no thicker than a nickel. For a double meat double cheese its $3.71, you get less and pay more than if you were to get a double cheeseburger McDonalds, or even more meat on a single burger from Carl's Jr. Their corn dogs are hand battered and cost $1.99. The white sauce is good. The fries are frozen and $3.64 for a medium. We fed a family of 4 (2 double meat & cheese, 2 corn dogs, 2 fries) for just over $25. We asked for a receipt but was told it was too late. We can go to Carl's Jr and get bigger burgers, fries and drinks for $23. Fast food at restaurant prices. They need to bulk up on food or lower prices. Also no indoor seating.

For those familiar with Spanish Fork, and especially those who grew up there, Glade's represents so much more than just the fast food joint that it is today. Since long before my time it's been the spot for tasty and semi-quick burgers, foot longs, fries and white sauce (NOBODY does this like Glade's), seaburgers, fish-n-chips, shakes, and most other traditional fast food menu items. Mind you, I'm not much of a fast food fan. But, having the recent & rare occasion to be back in this part of Spanish Fork, I just couldn't help myself. It's far from healthy food, folks, but I can justify a visit once every five years. (And I do remember the incredible fries they made here before they transitioned to the crinkle fries of today. Not that there's anything wrong with that.) My double-meat-double-cheese tasted exactly the same, as well as the fries and white sauce. I was very happy to see that they've now added a Lime Squeeze and Lime Rickey to their drink menu. Yay! Sign me up! The nostalgia of this place is overwhelming, and fellow SF'ers will usually run into someone they know here, whether current or past residents. Parking is still limited at this little walk-up joint, and they still tap on the window and wave you up when your food is ready. Could anything be finer? I think not. The downside: inflation has certainly caught up with Glade's. I'm sure it's happened gradually, but my sporadic visits made it quite noticeable. Not that long ago, I remember getting my usual aforementioned order here, including a large drink, for well under $5. Now it's more like $8.50. Still worth it? OH MY HECK, YES. (My little tribute to Utah Valley).

The quality at Glade's has diminished slightly over the years, but their fish and chips are every bit as good as they ever were. It's off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to find it.
